History
The Westgor funeral home was founded in 1941 by John and Alberta Westgor. Their firm prides itself in listening to the needs of families and carrying out their wishes with respect and dignity. In 1973, their son Ted joined the family business followed by his wife, Kathryn, in 1981. Upon the retirement of John and Alberta in 1985, Ted and Kathryn took over. The next to join the business was their daughter Sara in 1990. The building was then rebuilt in 1994 to make it more handicap accessible and updates occurred allowing the building to expand. Following the update, the Menasha branch was established in 1998. Sara then took over as Co-owner in 1999, with Bob Karrmann stepping in as Co-owner in 2003. When Ted retired in 2009, Bob and Sara remained owners. Today the building still functions for the community as a funeral home.
